Preamble
This Privacy Policy (the Policy) sets out the principles for processing and protecting information related to the use of JijiCat VPN (the Service).
The Policy forms part of the Service’s unified set of documents and applies together with the User Agreement and Service Rules. Terms used in this Policy have the meanings given in the User Agreement unless the context of this document expressly indicates otherwise.
The purpose of this Policy is to explain clearly and transparently what information may be processed when using the Service, why it is processed, how it is protected and what rights the User has.
JijiCat VPN follows the principle of data minimisation. The Service aims to process only information genuinely necessary to provide services, ensure security, fulfil obligations to Users, handle requests and comply with applicable law.
This Policy is not intended to describe internal technical processes, the Service architecture or technologies used insofar as those descriptions do not affect Users’ rights and legitimate interests.
Use of the Service means that the User has read and accepts this Policy to the extent provided by the User Agreement and applicable law.
1. General provisions
1.1. This Policy applies to all uses of JijiCat VPN, regardless of access method, device, software or User location.
1.2. The Policy governs the processing of information that may be obtained through:
- use of the Service and its access mechanisms;
- taking out, renewing and using a Subscription;
- contacting support;
- use of official resources and Service management interfaces;
- interaction between the User and the Administration;
- use of JijiCat VPN software and other components.
1.3. This Policy applies only to JijiCat VPN and does not govern information processing by third-party organisations, services or online resources, even where they are accessed through links on the Service’s official resources.
The Administration is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of such resources. Users are advised to read the relevant organisations’ documents themselves.
1.4. If any provision conflicts with mandatory requirements of applicable law, the relevant legal rules apply only to the extent of that conflict. The remaining provisions continue unchanged.
2. Information processing principles
JijiCat VPN follows these principles when processing information.
Lawfulness
Information is processed only where appropriate legal grounds exist and solely for purposes related to providing and developing the Service.
Minimisation
Only the amount of information objectively necessary for a specific task is processed.
The Service does not seek information unrelated to providing services or ensuring security.
Purpose limitation
Information is used only for purposes stated in this Policy, the User Agreement or applicable law.
Use for other purposes is permitted only where an appropriate legal basis exists.
Accuracy
Where possible, the Administration takes reasonable steps to keep processed information up to date and correct identified inaccuracies.
Storage limitation
Information is retained only as long as necessary for its processing purposes or to comply with legal requirements.
Once the processing purposes have been achieved, information is deleted, de-identified or destroyed unless further retention is required.
Confidentiality
Access to information is granted only to persons who objectively need it to perform their duties.
Security
The Administration takes reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information from unlawful access, alteration, destruction, disclosure, blocking or other unlawful acts.
3. Information that may be processed
The information processed depends on how the Service is used.
3.1. Subscription and access information
To provide access, information needed for the account to function may be processed, including:
- account identifier;
- email address, if used;
- username or chosen alias, if used;
- Subscription status;
- Subscription validity period;
- technical identifiers necessary to provide services.
3.2. Payment-related information
When a Subscription is purchased or renewed, information needed to confirm payment and provide the corresponding access may be processed.
This information may include:
- payment status;
- payment date;
- selected plan;
- Subscription validity period;
- payment transaction identifier;
- other information needed to record the payment.
Where payments are handled by third-party payment providers, bank card details and other payment data are processed by those organisations under their own rules and policies.

When support is contacted, information voluntarily provided by the User may be processed.
This may include:
- the request text;
- correspondence history;
- attached files;
- images;
- diagnostic logs;
- information about the issue;
- other information provided by the User on their own initiative.
The Administration recommends not including information unrelated to the issue unless it is needed to handle the request.
3.4. Technical information

- software versions;
- client compatibility;
- technical connection parameters;
- errors arising during use of the Service;
- the operation of individual infrastructure components;
- other information needed to diagnose faults and keep the Service secure.
The amount of this information depends on the situation and the Service components involved.
4. Information the Service does not collect
JijiCat VPN does not treat collecting information as an independent objective.
If information is not needed to provide services, ensure security or comply with legal requirements, it is not collected.
In particular, the Service is not intended to deliberately collect:
- browsing history;
- the contents of the User’s network traffic;
- the contents of correspondence;
- email contents;
- the contents of the User’s files;
- the contents of voice or video messages;
- passwords entered by the User;
- full bank card details;
- other information unrelated to providing JijiCat VPN services.
This provision does not exclude technical information generated automatically by hardware, software or infrastructure components during normal operation. Processing of such information is governed by this Policy.
5. Purposes and legal grounds for processing information
JijiCat VPN processes information only on lawful grounds and only to the extent necessary for specific, clear purposes.
Information is not processed to accumulate data about Users and is not used to create commercial profiles or analyse User behaviour outside the Service’s official resources.
5.1. Providing services
Information is processed to:
- register and maintain an account;
- provide access to a Subscription;

Summarised and/or technical information may be used to:
- improve stability;
- fix errors;
- analyse compatibility;
- improve performance;
- improve individual Service features.
De-identified or aggregated information is used for these purposes where possible.
5.5. Legal grounds for processing
The grounds for processing information are:
- the User’s use of the Service;
- performance of the User Agreement;
- implementation of this Policy;
- information provided voluntarily by the User;
- the need to ensure the Service’s security;
- fulfilment of obligations imposed by applicable law;
- protection of the legitimate interests of the Administration and Users to the extent permitted by law.
6. VPN connections, technical logs and diagnostics
VPN services rely on technical infrastructure that may generate diagnostic information during operation.
JijiCat VPN follows the principle of minimising the processing of such information and uses it solely to ensure stable and secure operation of the Service.
6.1. Minimal logging principle
The Administration does not use technical logs to examine the contents of Users’ internet traffic, analyse the resources they visit or create User profiles.
Logging is limited to what is necessary to:
- keep infrastructure operational;
- identify and resolve technical faults;
- prevent abuse;
- investigate information security incidents;
- protect the Service and its Users.
6.2. Technical logs
Depending on the infrastructure components used, logs may be generated automatically containing technical information needed to operate the Service.
These logs may include information about:
- server hardware operation;
- software component status;
- errors;
- success or failure of individual technical operations;
- events affecting infrastructure operation.
The content and volume of technical logs depend on the software used and may change as the Service develops.
6.3. Diagnostic information
When contacting support, the User may voluntarily provide additional technical information needed to analyse the issue.
Such information may include:
- client logs;
- error messages;
- screenshots;
- diagnostic files;
- software version information;
- configuration settings;
- other materials provided by the User.
This information is used solely to handle the relevant request and is not processed for unrelated purposes.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
Official JijiCat VPN web resources may use cookies and other local storage technologies needed for those resources to function correctly. Some official JijiCat VPN resources may use no cookies at all.
7.1. Purpose
These technologies may be used to:
- maintain the User’s session;
- save individual settings;
- ensure security;
- keep the interface working correctly;
- protect against certain types of automated attacks.
7.2. Limits on use
JijiCat VPN does not use cookies or similar technologies to create detailed User profiles or track activity outside the Service’s official resources.
Use of these technologies is limited to the operation, security and usability of the Service.
7.3. Managing settings
The User may manage cookies using their browser’s controls.
Disabling some storage technologies may affect the correct operation of certain features on official JijiCat VPN resources.
8. Disclosure of information to third parties
JijiCat VPN aims to limit disclosure of information to third parties as much as possible.
Information is disclosed only on lawful grounds and only to the extent necessary for the relevant purpose.
8.1. General principle
The Administration does not sell User information or provide it to third parties for marketing, personalised advertising or commercial profiling.
8.2. Technical partners
The Service may use third-party organisations to perform technical functions, including:
- payment processing;
- hosting server infrastructure;
- domain name registration;
- delivery of electronic messages;
- infrastructure protection;
- other technical processes needed for the Service to operate.
These organisations receive access only to information necessary to perform their respective functions.
8.3. At the User’s initiative
Information may be disclosed to third parties at the User’s express request or with their consent where necessary to fulfil that request.
8.4. Legal requirements
Information may be disclosed to public authorities only where expressly required by applicable law or a binding request from a competent authority.
Where legally permitted, the Administration seeks to limit disclosure to the scope of the relevant request.
9. Information retention and protection
JijiCat VPN considers information protection a key part of the Service’s reliability. The Administration follows the principle of proportionality: safeguards should match the nature of the information processed, the Service’s purpose and current information security threats.
9.1. Retention periods
Information is retained only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was processed.
Retention periods take into account:
- the need to provide services;
- the Subscription validity period;
- handling User requests;
- resolving disputes;
- ensuring the Service’s security;
- compliance with applicable law.
Once the purposes have been achieved, the relevant information is deleted, de-identified or destroyed unless further retention is required.
9.2. Account
Account-related information may be retained for the lifetime of the account.
After use of the Service ends, some information may be retained for a limited period where necessary to:
- complete settlements;
- fulfil obligations to the User;
- handle previously received requests;
- resolve potential disputes;
- comply with legal requirements;
- ensure information security.
9.3. Backups
Information may temporarily remain in backups to ensure the Service’s resilience.
Information is removed from backups within their established update cycle; immediate removal from every previously created archive is not required.
9.4. Organisational safeguards
To protect information, the Administration may use, among other measures:
- separation of access rights;
- the principle of least privilege;
- internal security procedures;
- access controls for administrative systems;
- regular assessment of potential risks.
9.5. Technical safeguards
Depending on the information processed, the following may be used:
- secure data transmission channels and protocols;
- modern cryptographic mechanisms;
- redundancy for critical components;
- access control tools;
- tools to detect certain types of attacks;
- infrastructure health monitoring;
- other technical measures appropriate to the current state of technology.
For security reasons, the Administration does not publicly disclose the specific configuration of protection mechanisms where doing so could reduce the Service’s security.
9.6. Limits on guarantees
Despite reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, no information system can guarantee absolute security.
Network technologies inevitably involve objective risks that cannot be eliminated entirely. The Administration takes reasonable steps to reduce them but cannot guarantee the absence of circumstances beyond its control.
10. User rights
To the extent provided by applicable law, the User may obtain information about how information related to use of the Service is processed.
The User may:
- contact the Administration with questions about this Policy;
- request explanations about information processing;
- report inaccuracies and request correction;
- request deletion of information where provided for by law or this Policy;
- exercise other rights granted by applicable law.
To protect Users and prevent unlawful disclosure, the Administration may request information needed to verify the applicant’s identity or connection to the relevant account.
Requests are reviewed within a reasonable time, taking into account their content, the checks required and applicable law.
If a User request cannot be fulfilled because of mandatory legal requirements, the need to protect others’ rights or the Service’s security, the Administration may refuse it in whole or in part, stating the relevant grounds.
11. Final provisions
This Policy applies together with the JijiCat VPN User Agreement and Service Rules. Together they form a unified set of documents governing use of the Service and processing of related information.
The Administration may amend this Policy if information processing practices change, Service functionality develops, applicable legal requirements change or other objective grounds arise.
A new version takes effect when published on official JijiCat VPN resources unless that version specifies a different date.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
For questions about this Policy, the User may contact the Administration through the official contact methods published on JijiCat VPN’s official resources.
Conclusion
This Policy establishes common principles for information processing at JijiCat VPN and is based on:
- processing only information necessary for the Service to function;
- transparent processing purposes;
- reasonable retention limits;
- organisational and technical safeguards;
- respect for the User’s right to privacy;
- compliance with applicable legal requirements.
JijiCat VPN seeks to develop the Service so that information processing remains clear, predictable and proportionate to the tasks for which that information is genuinely needed.
